  • Tips for the guide

Around 7h30 a.m, the Guide from AADASIA HOLIDAYS will pick up in your hotel/stay (within Hanoi Old Quarter only)
Let’s walk around from the Metropole, heading to the Sword Lake, the Heart of Hanoi. Our guide will show us ancient works, like the statue of King Ly Thai To, Thap Rua (the Turtle Tower), or drop by The Huc bridge and Ngoc son temple before exploring the Old Quarter.

Dishes in the Old Quarter are plenty and we can choose to taste any of them on the way, for example Banh mi (the Bread in Vietnam way), Bun cha (grilled pork with vermicelli), Pho (noodle soup) or Hoa qua dam (fruits mixture). This is a walking tour, otherwise we cannot take all the best dishes of Hanoi. Later we can hang around the exciting area of Nha Tho (St. Joseph cathedral) or head to Hang Dao – Hang Ngang route and walk up to Dong xuan market (our guide will discuss with you on the way)

After about 2 hrs walking, we can relax on a cyclo tour for about an hour seeing Hanoi Old Quarter with its famous points and cute streets dotted by narrow tube houses. The cyclo will be back to the hotel around 10h30 am, or take us to the Railway area, where the exciting atmosphere of passing-by trains is enjoyable from the cafeterias nearby, almost a must-to-see place in Hanoi today.
At the end of the trip, we can walk back to the hotel, or our Guide can help you order a cab.
