Welcome to Vietnam!

After breakfast at the hotel, around 9am (to avoid the rush hour) our guide will greet us at the hotel and go with us via car to the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the 1st president of independent Vietnam in 1945. The Mausoleum is a complex of the tomb in which Ho Chi Minh is resting, the house on stilts, where he used to spend his 11 last years, and his fish pond within a poetic large garden. Adjacent to the complex is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built 1st time since 1049 AD, reflecting the shape of a lotus flower.

To start tasting the flavor of the city, let’s enjoy a delicious Lunch of Bun Cha.

In the afternoon, we will visit Van Mieu (i.e. ‘’the Temple of Literature’’), Vietnam’s first high school, dating back to the 11th century. From here, we will go to the Ethnology Museum with great collections of the authentic cultures of Vietnam. Later, we can go on to Ngoc Son Temple with a beautiful red bridge, located in the heart of the Old Quarter, or go with our guide to a local cafe to sip some coffee or juice just very popular for Hanoi. Our car will pick us up and return to the hotel for your own leisure time. Overnight in Hanoi.

Noted: The Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh will close on Monday and Friday so we’ll visit the Hilton Hanoi Museum on those days instead.

After breakfast at hotel, the guide and bus [or van] of our Cruise today will pick us up at the Meeting point to go to Halong Bay. The transfer to the Wharf takes about 2h30.

Halong Bay, characterized by its thousands of islets and karst formations, is a captivating destination in Northern Vietnam that never fails to leave visitors in awe. Spanning approximately 1,500 square kilometers and located in the Gulf of Tonkin, this UNESCO World Heritage site boasts a breathtaking scenery that appears almost unreal. The multitude of limestone pillars rising from emerald water creates a unique and otherworldly atmosphere that attracts millions of visitors each year. These karst formations have been shaped over millions of years through geological processes, resulting in magnificent caves and grottoes waiting to be explored. In addition to its natural wonders, Halong Bay also offers opportunities for adventure seekers with activities like kayaking, rock climbing, and cave exploration. From cruising along the bay’s serene waters while admiring the scenic beauty to discovering hidden caves or immersing oneself in local culture by visiting fishing villages, Halong Bay truly encapsulates nature’s awe-inspiring allure at its finest.

We will be welcomed onboard, then take a 2 days 1 night trip on a Deluxe cruise, with interesting and exciting activities [swimsuits recommended!!!]. This journey will awaken all our senses with the beauty of nature, the savory taste, the comfy facility, and the attentive deluxe services onboard.

Noted: The specific program of activities will be very diverse and will depend on the cruise itinerary. Overnight onboard.

Wake up in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, enjoy breakfast, and visit stunning caves or a pearl farm in the morning. At noon, after lunch, we will be back to Hanoi. Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight at your hotel in Ha Noi.

Have breakfast at hotel before our car and guide pick us up to go to Sapa by the Highway Hanoi – Lao Cai. The road takes about 5hrs thru high mountains and hills with long and winding roads.

Whilst approaching Sapa, we will be immersed in between pinewoods, mist and the terraced rice fields dotted along the way. After arrival, we will have lunch at a local restaurant before check-in hotel. This afternoon let’s go down to Cat Cat village, located about 4km from Sapa town (you can cycle from your place to Cat Cat village) to explore the routine life of Hmong, a very globally famous ethnic group, visit the village, intermingle with the people or go shopping for brocade souvenirs like dresses, bags or other crafts made by Hmong batik. Back to the Hotel late afternoon and at your leisure in the evening. Overnight in Sapa.

After breakfast, our guide will pick us up and head to the Sapa Legend Tourist Area, where we get in cable cars to conquer Fansipan, the Peak of Indochina at an altitude of 3,143m. These cable cars have many records: the longest 3-wire cable car in the world is 6,292.5m long, the cable car with the largest difference between arrival and departure station at 1,410m high, and the safest rope in the world. We can take the cables up to the altitude of about 2,900m, then walk to Thanh Van and Bich Van to offer an incense at the altitude of 3,037m.

Let’s continue the journey to conquer the roof of Indochina! When standing on the top of Fansipan, we’ll have the opportunity to see Sapa town in the clouds and the Northwestern mountains of Vietnam.

Have lunch at the Fansipan Tourist Area.

After we go down the mountain by cable car, our car will take us back to the hotel.

Dinner at your own arrangement. You can hang around and taste delicious mountain street foods like baked corn, cassava or eggs. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, we will discover Ham Rong Mountain with impressive scenery – visit the Indochina orchid garden with all kinds of colorful orchids, and the glorious Thach Lam Dragon head. Passing the Heaven Gate, we will reach the highest point of Ham Rong, which is San May, and enjoy the panoramic view of Sapa from above.

After the visit, around 10h00, our guide and car will take us back to Hanoi

See you on your next trip!
