DAY 1: HANOI – QUAN BA – YEN MINH (LUNCH)
Around 7am, ABI Holidays’ tour guide and vehicle will welcome you at the meeting point and depart for Ha Giang. Lunch at a restaurant en route or in Ha Giang City.
Head to Yen Minh; on the way we’ll conquer the 7 km-long Bac Sum Slope, standing on the mountain, watching the whole road of Doc Voi, then going through Quan Ba. We’ll stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate to admire the panoramic view of Tam Son town, nestled beside Co Tien Twin Mountain, an artwork of the creator bestowed for this land. Upon arrival at Yen Minh, check-in hotel.
Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Yen Minh.
DAY 2: YEN MINH – DONG VAN – LUNG CU – MEO VAC (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
After check-out hotel and having breakfast, the vehicle will take us to Dong Van Stone Plateau, recognised as a Global Geopark since 2013. The long and winding roads thru Dong Van and surroundings are now known as the ‘’Ha Giang loop’’. On the way, we will visit Sung La Valley, known by many people from the vibrant Vietnamese movie “Pao’s Story”. The Lung Cu Flagpole is the next, which is the Northernmost point of Vietnam territory, the point the Vietnamese see as a symbol of the national sovereignty. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will conquer one of the most famous “Four Great Peaks of Vietnam’’, including Ma Pi Leng Pass with an altitude of 2000m above the sea, with steep slopes and winding sleeves, bringing a thrilling yet enjoyable experience. Boarding a boat upstream of Nho Que, through Tu San gorge, we can see the majesty of Ha Giang heaven and earth. The road, built totally by the Vietnamese during the wartime, is called The Happy Road, ‘’Con đường Hạnh Phúc” in Vietnamese.
Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Meo Vac Clayhouse, a beautiful and exciting area in Meo Vac combining traditional and modern styles in the architecture.
DAY 3: MEO VAC – PAC BO – CAO BANG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
After breakfast, we will set-off to Cao Bang via Pac Bo. On the way to Cao Bang, we will pass by more passes with challenging but marvelous mountain scenes and forests at Giang Pass, Gio Pass and Cao Bac Pass.
After lunch en route, our car will head to Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang District to Pac Bo Cave, a historical site attached to Ho Chi Minh and his associates during the first Indochina War, so called the French-Vietnam War. Beside the historical value, Pac Bo Cave possesses a poetic beauty with stops near Lenin Stream, and Karl Marx Mountain. The names are still unchanged to tell visitors about a memorable part in Vietnam history.
Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Cao Bang chieftown.
DAY 4: CAO BANG – KHUOI KY STONE VILLAGE – BAN GIOC WATERFALL (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
After breakfast at hotel, we will drive to Khuoi Ky Stone Village, with original houses on stilts, bringing the very own beauty of the Northeast mountains. Next we will visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, a waterfall with a height of 53m, dividing into 3 floors; it’s considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest one in Southeast Asia, one of the great waterfalls located at the borders of 2 countries in the world as a natural watershed. (Lunch en route between visits). Overnight at the hotel overlooking Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
DAY 5: BAN GIOC WATERFALL – BA BE LAKE (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
Have breakfast at hotel before our guide and car take us to Ba Be Lake, a great emerald lake in the Northeast of Vietnam, with Nang River combining one clear and one dusty flow in the same stream. We’ll move to the boat dock in Ba Be Lake in Tay village and get on a boat to explore Dau Dang waterfall and the lake, learning about the life, culture and habits of ethnic minority villages living on the mountainside by the lake. Being one of the greatest freshwater lakes in Vietnam, Ba Be is green all year round and Boat trips on the lake are attractive not only to visitors but international scientists and foreign students thanks to its rare flora and fauna. Lunch at a local restaurant between visits.

DAY 6: BA BE LAKE – HANOI – DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
After breakfast, we will pack our luggage to return to to Hanoi. Lunch on the way back.
In the afternoon we will arrive at our Meeting point in Hanoi and say goodbye to our Guide and driver. We wish you good health and wealth, and look forward to seeing you on another trip!
