CHILDREN POLICY:

  • Children under 5 years old: no extra bed needed and the child sleeps with their parents: free of charge if there is one child, the second child is charged 50% of the adult tour price.
  • Children from 5-11 years old: sharing the bed with their parents, the charge is 85% of the adult tour price
  • Children from 12 years old: charged as an adult.

DAY 1: HANOI – BA VI – DUONG LAM ANCIENT VILLAGE – MIA PAGODA (Breakfast)

Welcome to Vietnam! 

In the morning, Our private car and guide will pick you up at your hotel  ( if your hotel is near Old Quarter) and head to Ba Vi and visit some ancient buildings built by the French. You will be amazed by the architectural foundations from a hundred years ago when going far into the forest. The resort, the stoves, the walls, the shrines, all are covered with forest trees and mountain mist.

Lunch at your own arrangement.

After lunch, our guide will take you to visit Duong Lam Ancient village. a purely

agricultural area of North Vietnam, visit Mong Phu communal house, and ancient

houses made by laterite, or enjoy some local products: Rice wine, and rice cake. Next, we will visit the Mia Pagoda, a complex of temples and shrines built in the XVII century by the local people in the area. Then you will be back to Hanoi.

Dinner at your own arrangement and free enjoy the evening in Hanoi.

Overnight in Hanoi. 

 

DAY 2: VISIT HANOI THE WHOLE DAY (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After breakfast at the hotel, around 9am (to avoid the rush hour) our guide will greet us at the hotel and go with us via car to the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the 1st president of independent Vietnam in 1945. The Mausoleum is a complex of the tomb in which Ho Chi Minh is resting, the house on stilts, where he used to spend his 11 last years, and his fish pond within a poetic large garden. Adjacent to the complex is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built 1st time since 1049 AD, reflecting the shape of a lotus flower. Leaving the Mausoleum, we will head to Van Mieu, or Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius scholars under feudal dynasties, and also a study place of high-ranking families’ children.  We will have lunch at Koto, a restaurant near Van Mieu.

 

In the afternoon, we will visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. There, we can learn about the different cultures in Vietnam and see fascinating artifacts. After that, we’ll visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, a peaceful temple by West Lake. It’s a great place to find calm and discover more about Vietnam’s spiritual and religious life. After the trip, we will walk around Truc Bach Lake to take photos and enjoy Tay Ho ice cream. Then, we’ll head back to the hotel. Dinner at your arrangement. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Noted: The Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh will close on Monday and Friday so we’ll visit the Hilton Hanoi Museum on those days instead.

 

DAY 3: HA NOI – HALONG BAY (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

After breakfast at the hotel, a bus of our cruise with a cruise guide will pick us up at the meeting point  up to Halong Bay, a great UNESCO World Heritage in Northern Vietnam. The transfer to the cruise takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Welcome onboard and take a 2days-1night trip on a deluxe cruise with excellent and exciting activities [swimsuits recommended]. Being a bay with nearly 2,000 islands and islets, some with craters, Halong has been recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage to emphasize its value and the need to be protected. This journey will awaken all our senses with the beauty of nature, the savory taste, the comfy facility, and the perfect service right at one of the natural wonders of the world. Overnight on-board.

DAY 4: HA LONG BAY – HA NOI  (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

 

Wake up in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, enjoy breakfast, and visit stunning caves in the morning. At noon, after the trip, we’ll be back to Hanoi to rest and prepare for the long journey ahead.

DAY 5:  HA NOI – FLY TO HUE – KHAI DINH TOMB – IMPERIAL CITY – HUE  (BREAKFAST, DINNER)

After breakfast, our guide and vehicle will take us to the airport for our flight to Hue. Welcomed by our guide and driver in Hue.
Hue is the historical ancient capital, and was the last capital of Vietnam’s feudal dynasties. 

Coming to the ancient capital of Hue, we will be immersed in a peaceful and gentle atmosphere with historical relics, where the remnants of a memorable historical period are kept. We will visit Khai Dinh Tomb, one of the royal architectural masterpieces featuring a unique blend of Asian and European styles. Continue our trip with a visit to the Imperial City, the former royal palace of the Nguyen Dynasty, where you can learn about the history and culture of Hue. 

Have dinner at a local restaurant . Overnight at Hue.

DAY 6: HUE  (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
After breakfast at hotel, our Guide will take us to visit the Perfume River, the symbolic river of Hue. Perfume River is located in the centre of Hue city, so we can visit many different places at the same time. Walking on Truong Tien Bridge built by the company of Gustave Eiffen, which crosses the romantic Perfume River. Standing on the bridge, we can watch the poetic beauty of the sunset. Continue our journey to Thanh Toan Bridge, a traditional wooden bridge located next to a beautiful temple, where you can relax and admire the scenery. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the center of Hue’s spiritual life of Hue since ancient times. And few people know that this temple was founded during the reign of Lord Nguyen Hoang, who laid the foundation for the Nguyen dynasty, with the purpose of gathering spiritual energy for the ancient country. 

 

At the end of the day, we will continue to visit Dong Ba Market, a traditional market that symbolises the atmosphere of Hue. Travellers come here to experience sightseeing, go shopping, and to enjoy Hue cuisine. In the market, there are many different items from fashion, handicrafts to souvenirs and specialties to bring back as gifts.

DAY 7: HUE – DMZ TOUR – HUE (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

Have breakfast at the hotel and our vehicles take us to DMZ full day tour. 

During your visit, you’ll delve into the history of the Vietnam War from 1954 to 1975, venture through the captivating landscapes of Quang Tri province encompassing lush forests, majestic mountains, and meandering rivers. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, witness remnants of US combat bases, gain insights into military surveillance, and journey through the historic DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) that once marked the boundary along the Ben Hai River, just 60 miles north of Hue City.

 

We will step back in time and witness the scene of many destroyed foundations of former American military bases buildings, monuments dedicated to local war heroes, and hundreds of war relics displayed within a US combat base-turned-museum. Back to Hue in late evening. Dinner at your arrangement.  Overnight in Hue. 

 

DAY 8 : HUE – DA NANG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After breakfast, today we’ll head to Da Nang City. Along the way, we can  make stops to take pictures and relax at Lang Co Beach in Thua Thien Hue. From Lang Co Beach, we can see the beautiful landscape of Vietnam, with the Bach Ma mountains and Son Tra Peninsula in the distance. We’ll have lunch at Lang Co. 

 

Continue to Da Nang City, you’ll check in hotel located in the city centre or near the beach.  

Our guide will take you around, see and listen to instructions explaining the famous architectural highlights of Da Nang Tourist City: Administration Building, Dragon Bridge, walking to breathe the fresh air, visit and take pictures. Dinner at your arrangement. Overnight in Da Nang. 

 

DAY 9: DA NANG – GOLDEN BRIDGE – HOI AN  (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

Have breakfast at hotel until our guide and car come to pick us up at Ba Na Hills and spend a full day there. Sun World Ba Na Hills is the most significant resort and recreational complex in Vietnam. At a height of 1,487 meters from sea level, we will find ourselves relaxing in the typical rotation of four seasons in a single day and numerous festivities, recreations, and diverse cuisine. Having a buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills. 

 

We will visit the Golden Bridge – a prominent golden silk stripe that shines among the majestic mountains, along with a pair of giant stone hands that seemingly hold the Golden Bridge. A modern masterpiece that is memorable to many tourists. After getting off the cable car, our van and guide will take you to Hoi An. Then our guide will take you on a walk to explore the culture of Hoi An people at night.

DAY 10: HOI AN – TRA QUE VILLAGE – MY SON – HOI AN (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After having breakfast,  our guide will take you to Tra Que Vegetable Village to  enjoy the scent of fresh vegetables.. The seaweed is grown organically without chemicals, and these renowned vegetables are located in the rural areas near Hoi An, allowing you to observe the villagers in their daily routines. Visitors can relax and enjoy various activities, such as cycling, motorbike tours, walking tours, foot massages with herbal treatments, learning about vegetable farming, and making Tam Vi rolls with locals before lunch.Have lunch at Tra Que Vegetable Village. 

 

In the afternoon, our vehicle will take us to go to My Son. My Son Sanctuary in Quang Nam is one of the most impressive temple ruins in South East Asia. Listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1999 features over 70 structures and ancient buried treasures. The temples, reflecting a 10-century journey through different Cham Kingdom architectural styles, attract tourists, especially those fascinated by ancient civilizations and spiritual architecture.

Moreover, the significance of  My Son Sanctuary resides in the Cham towers constructed for worship. These towers were built using a mysterious method, possibly involving baking the structures for increased durability. Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Hoi An.

 

DAY 11: HOI AN – BAY MAU COCONUT FOREST – SAIGON (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

We’ll have breakfast at the hotel, then our guide will pick us up at the hotel and depart to Bay Mau Coconut Forest. You will discover the peaceful coconut forest and be welcomed warmly by the local people here. You can enjoy some fun activities at the village such as basket boat spinning, fishing crabs, casting the fishing net and the fisherman will show you how to paddle a basket boat.

Have lunch at a local restaurant at Bay Mau Coconut Forest.

After lunch, we will return to Danang airport taking the flight to Saigon.

DAY 12: SAIGON CITY TOUR –  CU CHI – SAIGON (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After breakfast, we will visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Post Office, Ben Thanh Market then stop at the Fifo Museum to learn more about Vietnam traditional medicine. Lunch in Saigon. Afternoon we will go with our guide to the Cu Chi tunnel. 

A huge underground system not far from Saigon, Cu Chi is the evidence of a very fierce war that the Vietnamese called “the War against the Americans” and the whole world calls it “The Vietnam War.” For many years before 1975, Cu Chi covered troops of Vietnamese guerillas not only from attacks but protected their daily lives; it became a strong base for the Vietnamese forces during the conflicts and is now a weird war remnant that can make anyone of us feel a stronger love to peace and everyday life upon each time visiting this place.

DAY 13: SAIGON – TIEN GIANG – FRUIT GARDEN – VINH TRANG PAGODA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

In the morning, Our car and Guide from AG HOLIDAYS will meet us at our hotel. We start our trip today by going to Tien Giang – a province to the north of Saigon. First, we will visit the Cai Mon Fruit Garden with luxuriant fruit trees and flowers. After the visit, our car and Guide will take us to a local restaurant to have lunch. 

In the afternoon, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda – the biggest pagoda in Tien Giang, with an area of 2000 square meters with many beautiful trees. Then, we will visit Man Dinh Hong Flower Garden before our car and Guide will take us back to our hotel in Sai Gon. Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Saigon

 

DAY 14: SAIGON –  DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST)

After breakfast, the rest of the morning is at your arrangement.
