SHORT PROGRAM:
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY) – HALF-DAY CITY TOUR (Dinner).
Welcome to Vietnam!
Upon your arrival, our guide and vehicle from AADASIA Group will welcome you at Tan Son Nhat Airport and transfer you to the city. After checkin hotel and have a short rest, we will star our visit.
Being the most exciting city of Vietnam with a multi-cultural lifestyle, Saigon offer very different cultural works. We will visit Dong Du Mosque, one of the largest Muslim Mosques, built in 1935 by the Indian Muslim traders living in the central area of the city. From here, walk down to pass by the Theatre and visit the surrounding area of the dynamic District 1. From here, go along to Ben Thanh Market, the central market in tonw, which is not only a trading place for the townspeople but a popular tourist destination not to be missed.
Our car will meet us outside Ben Thanh market to go for Dinner at a good restaurant (Local dishes or Halal foods). Overnight in Sai Gon.
DAY 2: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA (MY THO) – SAIGON (Breakfast, lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, we will be picked up to go to My tho, a peaceful province on the Mekong Delta. In My Tho, we will visit My Tho Mosque, then take a boat on Tien Giang River to visit picturesque four islands of Long, Lan, Qui, Phung (the dragon, the unicorn, the turtle and the phoenix), then stop at Thoi Son island. Here we will drop by a coconut candy factory and enjoy delicious candy here, while watching the progress of making products from coconut. Later, we will walk around an orchard, listen to Don Ca Tai Tu, a Southern folk song genre at a local house, and experience boating on the canal between rows of green water coconut trees.
Lunch at a local restaurant with delicious Vietnamese dishes.
Afternoon we will walk around the village to observe the interesting life of the locals, and challenge your bargaining ability at handicraft shops!
Back to Saigon later afternoon. Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 3: SAIGON – SAIGON CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS – SAIGON (Breakfast, lunch)
After breakfast, we will visit the exciting District 5 of Saigon, where strong traditions of the Chinese community still exist. Stop at Thien Hau pagoda, Binh Tay market, then go with our guide to some shops that have telekong, tudong and so on. We can also go to the Russian Market, a popular shopping destination known for its wide variety of clothes and crafts with affordable price.
After lunch in Saigon, we will head to Cu Chi Tunnels, an evidence of the fierce Vietnam War. The road takes about 1h30. For many years before 1975, Cu Chi used to cover troops of the Vietnamese guerillas not only from attacks but also protected their daily lives; this is a complexion of houses, cabins, kitchens, infirmaries and weapon stores. It had become a strong base for the Vietnamese forces during the conflicts and is now a weird war remnant that can make anyone of us feel a stronger love to peace and everyday life upon each time visiting this place.
Back to Saigon late afternoon. Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 4: SAIGON – DEPARTURE (Breakfast)
On our last day in Saigon, after breakfast, we will have our leisure time to self-explore Saigon, then meet our Guide and driver at the Lobby to be transferred to the airport for our departure flights (if our flight is earlier than 09:30am, the hotel will prepare a breakfast box).
We will say goodbye to Vietnam here. Hope to see you for a longer trip!
