Amazing Travel Experience

Explore The Backroads Of The Mekong 4 Days

Saigon, officially called Ho Chi Minh, is less than 400 years old, a young town! Compared to the ancient cities in North and Central Vietnam, Saigon is more vibrant and dynamic, and it still possesses the spirit of the explorers, who moved from the traditional provinces to the South. Saigon during the XVIII-XIX centuries was just a land of swampy forests, and wildlife, a center of pirates and migrants. Saigon during the XX century suffered the two fiercest wars of Indochina, yet, the city has overcome and remains Vietnam’s most energetic and beautiful city.

Morning: Our vehicle and Guide from AADASIA GROUP will meet you at your hotel. We will visit the following places:

  • Chinatown + Binh Tay Market: trading center of Vietnamese and Chinese communities in Saigon. This place still preserves the architectural value of the Chinese from hundreds of years ago.
  • Thien Hau Pagoda: is one of the pagodas with the oldest history of the Chinese in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides the value of architectural art, sculpture, and ancient artifacts, this place also has another value, it’s not only a place to meet the religious needs but also a place of gathering and mutual assistance of Vietnamese people of Chinese origin.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Our vehicle and Guide pick us up and we continue to visit Independence Palace, the former headquarters of the United States located in South Vietnam and Tan Dinh Church, a Catholic church in Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to Tan Dinh parish, outstanding with Gothic architecture with impressive pink tones. Then we will see the City Post Office, an indispensable destination for tourists when coming to Ho Chi Minh City. It has ancient architecture, more than 120 years old.

After that, our vehicle and Guide will take you back to your hotel.

Overnight in Saigon

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will meet you at around 8.00 AM on a Vespa motorbike.

We start our adventure early as we head out of this energetic city to discover the natural beauty of this fertile region, adorned with rice paddies, waterways, and local markets. Immerse yourself in the culture, cottage industries, and rural village life of the locals.

Take a short ferry ride over the Mekong River to experience a bustling fresh market while enjoying refreshing drinks, tasty snacks, and delicious lunch along the way. Move comfortably along the riverside paths as your adventure continues, meeting interesting families with stops to check out the production of rice wine, and sampling the local brew!

Our fascinating journey continues with a visit with an incense maker and then learning about a new religion of Vietnam at an ornate Cao Dai Temple. This all-day, jam-packed adventure will delight your senses and stimulate your mind as you take in all that the countryside of the Mekong Delta has to offer.

The ride finishes and we get back to our hotel.
