What this tour is all about?

Following the vibrant celebrations of January 19th, this unique tour takes you further into the heart of Tet traditions for the Year of the Snake. This One-day tour offers a deeper connection to Vietnam’s rich heritage, promising cherished memories and an unforgettable Tet celebration!

Discount: USD 30/Person/Tour, from 5th Person

Notes

  • Kids under 5: free of tour cost
  • Kids from 6 and older: charged as an adult
  • You can join any part of the program and/or add the evening event (on your own) from 20:00—22:00: Tet Gala at the Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center.

7:45: The tour guide will meet all the guests at the meeting point (No. 4 Hang Chieu Street). 

We will walk to the Heritage House to experience the atmosphere of Vietnamese Tet! 

At the Heritage House, the following activities will take place:

  • 9:00 – 11:30: Wrapping, making Banh Chung and Banh Tet (traditional Tet cakes) based on ready-made ingredients
  • 12:30 – 23:30: Boiling Banh Chung and Banh Tet, you can join at any time

Have lunch at a local restaurant.  

Afternoon (At the Heritage House)

  • 14:00 – 16:30: Exploring the past and present Tet traditions, the group of attendants to the ceremony in their  ‘’Áo dài’’ (the Vietnamese traditional long dress for both men and women) while walking through the Old Quarter and the Hang Luoc Flower Market (starting from Heritage House). 

(You can join this parade, best in traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, and this will be a memorable highlight of your Hanoi trip).

  • Around 17:00: after the tour, our guide will take us back to the meeting point (No. 4 Hang Chieu Street).

Conclude a day of experiencing Vietnam’s traditional Tet celebrations.
