DAY 1: HANOI – QUAN BA – YEN MINH (LUNCH)

Our guide and vehicle will pick you up at the hotel to depart for Ha Giang – the land of shan tea, honey wine, peach blossom, buckwheat and bustling traditional markets. From Ha Giang city onwards, the scenery will change dramatically from hills to mountain ranges and passes, which are wild and magnificent. We will stop a couple of times at the viewpoints or villages to enjoy the landscape from above and learn more about the hill tribal cultures of Hmong, Tay, Yao people hereby.  

Lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will stop at Milestone 0 at Ha Giang city, the ‘’peak’’ of Vietnam before leaving for Quan Ba. We will take a stopover, from where we can admire the Fairy Twin Mountains, a marvelous natural scene, then head to Yen Minh town passing pinewoods. 

We will stop at Yen Minh tonight, check-in hotel and our guide will recommend good restaurants for dinner (own expenses).   

 

DAY 2: YEN MINH – DONG VAN GEOPARK – NHO QUE RIVER – MA PI LENG PASS – DONG VAN (BREAKFAST, LUNCH) 

After breakfast, we will head to Dong Van stone plateau – a rocky plateau spreading over 4 districts of Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Meo Vac. This remote and rugged region is home to a breathtaking landscape of towering limestone mountains, deep valleys, and dramatic rock formation and also home to a rich and diverse cultural heritage.

We‘ll visit the Vuong Family House with unique architecture and historical event stories. The House used to belong to the chief of the area, Mr. Vuong Chi Sinh, so called ‘’the Hmong King’’ by then. His house, in some periods, used to store even opium and weapons, and visiting it will give us a glimpse of Hmong Royal life in the past.

Later we’ll drive to Lung Cu – the beginning of Vietnam land. Here we will admire the scenery of Lo Lo village interspersed with terraced fields. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Van.

Afternoon we will explore one of the “four great passes’ ‘of Vietnam, Ma Pi Leng, and take a challenging boat trip to enjoy the magnificent beauty on Nho Que river. Come over to Dong Van town to checkin and freely explore local specialties here. At weekend nights, the guests can also have fun shopping at the old town night market.

DAY 3: DONG VAN – BAC SUM – HA GIANG CITY (BREAKFAST, LUNCH) 

After breakfast, we will checkout and return to Ha Giang city. On the way, we will  stop to visit Lung Cam Cultural Village, which is full of ancient houses, the place where the movie “Pao’s Story” was set. Have lunch at Bac Sum Slope. Afternoon we will arrive in Ha Giang city to check-in hotel. At our leisure for the rest of the day. Dinner at your own arrangement.

DAY 4: HA GIANG CITY – HANOI  (BREAKFAST, LUNCH) 

After breakfast, our guide will take us around to explore the lifestyle of the ethnic people in Ha Giang. Enjoying local foods and snacks hereby, especially the grilled meat on the street, can be a fun experience. Get some coffee at a stall overlooking the river before getting in our car and back to Hanoi. 

We will arrive after about 6 hours.
