We will bring you closer to various ethnic groups of this region, where there is the highest mount of Indochina: the Fansipan.

Dien Bien Phu is an historical site where you will learn a part of history and the spirit of Vietnam.

Also, walking in terraced rice field is a unique moment. We wanted to combine it with magical encounters with White Thai, Dao, Hmong, Kho Mu… You will encounter a lot of different local ethnic groups to make it memorable.

DAY 1. HANOI – MAI CHAU (L, D)

Transfer to discover the country of the White Thai ethnic group. Peaceful cycling among rice fields to discover their lands. Traditional dance and music, the evening.

DAY 2. MAI CHAU – SON LA (B, L, D)

Short hike in a region where live Red Hmong & visit of one village. Plum fields, Peach fields, rice fields… an agricultural and welcome region.

DAY 3. SON LA – DIEN BIEN PHU

Transfer to Dien Bien Phu, and discover how General Vo Nguyen Giap get inspired by the tactics of Napoleon to liberate Vietnam from French colony through nice roads and bright landscapes.

DAY 4. DIEN BIEN PHU – LAI CHAU

Continue to explore the historical sites of Dien Bien Phu and transfer to Lai Chau, surrounded by beautiful mountains and few tourists. You will meet the most savaged region where plenty of warm welcome ethnics live: Thai, Red Hmong, Black Dao, Lao, Kho Mu… through a short hike.

DAY 5. LAI CHAU – SAPA

Discover Tai Lu group and how they dye their tooth in black, sign of beauty. Transfer to Sapa & stops on the way to admire beautiful mountainous landscapes & the famous Fanxipan, the rooftop of Indochina. (mettre taille)

DAY 6. SAPA – HANOI

Last hike in the Valley of Muong Hoa in one village and one final cultural meeting. Transfer to Hanoi.
